Tales from the Mel-o-Sphere ... or, Keegan: the Blog ... nothing is sacred. Movies and books, writing and art, politics and science, news from Mars and DreamCraft, Aus and Alaska, plus MK's own Dave Barry style of humor. A post every day, and blog specials where you can get downloads weeks before they're on the website, and some things that aren't here at all!

what's due for upload in the near future, to Mel Keegan Online?
We'll be expanding the Member's Area with rafts of new material, including serial fiction and more in the Up Close and Personal section, as well as Mel At The Movies; and — in response to demand from readers during the last couple of years — MK will be holding what we're calling 'Master Class.' The question has been asked, 'How the &#@! does Keegan do it?' (For that matter, how do any of the top-line writers do it?) Writing, and writing well, are two vastly different things. Is it a skill that's simply bred and born into a person ... you can either do it, or you can't? Or is it a skill that can be learned? Join us very soon for the Mel Keegan master class, where secrets will be shared and all will be revealed. Login or sign up now?

There's several new books to come, beginning with the haunted house novel FALCONHURST. All three should be out in 2010 ... but as Mel puts it, "A seven-headed monster called Real Life is well known to stick any three or four of its heads into one's personal space without prior notification, and I learned the hard way not to make promises regarding deadlines." In fact, currently, MK can't be cajoled into setting a deadline for anything. A book will be done when it's done. And when it's done, rest assured, you'll be kept posted about it! You can subscribe to our newsletters and/or sign up for the RSS feed we're about to organize.

The Giftstore will be expanding with another raft of items as soon as this website is up and running. (For those who have been with us a long time, you'll remember where all this began ... contrast the memory with what you see now, and you'll see the ocean of work that's been invested. We're very proud of where we are now.)

Webmaster Central will also be expending to a new page: you'd be astonished how many of our visitors are also website owners (or would like to be), and curious as to how some of our effects are done. Sometimes they're astonishingly easy ... sometimes not. Either way, we're always delighted to share, so, if there's something you need to know — fire away.

DreamCraft uses, and recommends, iPower

So stay with us in 2009/10. We'll be busy, and a good time will be had by all.

Cheers from MK and the bunch at DreamCraft.
