Lulu.com has printshops in the US and Canada, the UK and Europe,
and your books are manufactured and shipped from the nearest center
to your address, to keep prices down.
However, if you're in Australia, New Zealand or remote regions,
obviously you're going to incur some extra shipping costs!
Shipping within the USA and Canada is around US$4 for the first book
and $3 each for other titles in the same package. For exact charges,
check the Lulu.com shopping cart. Go through the ordering process,
just don't check out! (Unless you want to, of course...) Notice that
Lulu.com offers several different shipping methods. The default it
not the cheapest! Use the drop-down menu to choose.
The cost of shipping one book TO Australia and New Zealand is
currently in the regions of US$11. Asia/Pacific will pay slightly
less. European readers will pay much less, because your parcel will
be shipped out of, for example, Belgium. UK readers will obviously
receive their parcels from a printshop in the UK.
Lulu does 'combine shipping' so that when you're ordering a whole
set, (say, the entire NARC series), you receive substantial savings.
Shipping times vary ... also, remember to count in the time taken
for manufacture of POD items. A paperback takes 3-4 days for
manufacture; a hardcover, closer to 10 days.
