Welcome to the 2010 update of Mel Keegan Online! And before anyone says anything … it’s very overdue. As you may know, MK has devoted many months to another project — GLBT Bookshelf. Long story short: the time to get The Bookshelf up and running had to come from somewhere, and this website was the element that was nudged over to the back burner, since it had enjoyed a very major upgrade in 2008.

However, The Bookshelf is starting to take care of itself now, and MK is able to invest some time and attention in these pages. There’s a great deal happening behind the scenes. 2009 has been the year when the whole MK range went to Amazon … and they’re starting to appear at B&N too. Most titles are now available for your Kindle — not to mention your iPhone, Blackberry and so forth.

There are new titles, new covers for old titles, and a lot more. 2009 saw the launch and distribution of three new Keegans, with a fourth in the works at the time of this writing (September ’09). Equally exciting, the title which began it all, ICE, WIND AND FIRE, is due for release in October, celebrating its own Twentieth Anniversary!

For members, it's even easier. The Members' Area had been relocated; if you're already a member, you should have all the details — a newsletter went out to the whole mailing list when the site relaunched. Lost the newsletter? No problem, just go through the process, which takes under a minute ... and is a whole lot simpler than ever before. It's also a one-off process. Meaning, you'll click this way but once!
