During those years, Jade's bookcovers have been designed almost exclusively for Mel Keegan, but in the last few months the upcoming titles by new author Jayne deMarco have been jacketed, resulting in a raft of new covers, and also new styles of artwork. Presented in this portfolio are a plethora of ebook covers, plus a great many paperback covers, and several hardover dustjackets. The work falls into several categories: digital art; 3D art; and true paintings. Themes and designs feature character studies, face shots, the generic "torso" shot which is so popular today; and conceptual art featuring objects and locations rather than characters. Photographic elements used in these paintings are drawn from DreamCraft Digital Stock photography. Faces depicted in the work are designed in 3D software.
